License for kOS for SS and SS+

We do have a SS and a SS+, and multiple machines (iPad and a laptop). With one license we can run the kOS on two computers?

Do we need a different kOS license for each SS and the SS+?

Thanks.

The controller is what is licensed with kOS for SS/SS+. If you are running the SS+ and SS together in Bridge Mode, you will make the SS+ the Master and that will be the one to license, if you want to us kOS Premium.

DCC cannot be controlled wirelessly.

You can disable WiFi on the SS+ controller and connect with kOS via USB from a computer.

AutoCalibration for lenses with hard stops is a feature that is coming with our Digital Jog Control which will be released in the very near future. We will investigate if we can add that support to the SS+ controller as well.

Here is a link to our support site for SS+ and the manual, if you are not aware of it.

One more question:

once the SS+ is connected with the KOS, can I still use the DCC? How can we connect the DCC wireless?

Is there any way to not use WiFi Network to connect the SS+? The way is it today I need to choose to have internet or the wireless feature for the SS+. Why not Bluetooth?

The focus feature for the kOS need a lot of improvements for video. We need to be able to add focus marks once you calibrate the axis. Also, it would be great if it auto-calibrate with the lenses end points.

Thanks for the answer.

So, how can we work with DCC and kOS?
We had the impression that you could interact via DCC, with the events made on kOS.
