Which cable works for the Sony Alpha 7s?
We have added a S2 cable that is compatible with the Sony A7s
...and for the Fujifilm X-E2 Mirrorless camera?
Appears as if the RS1 or E3 might work...Advise, please. Thx.
Kipp,
It does appear that the E3 would be the correct cable. However, we do not have a Fujifilm X-E2 available to test with in order to be 100% certain.
Does the RS1 cable work with the Pansonic GH4? Only the GH1 and GH2 are listed, just want to clarify.
Michael,
It appears that the Panasonic GH3 and GH4 both still have the same shutter release port that the GH1 and GH2 have so the RS1 Cable would be the cable to use for them.
Any cables for the Sony FS100 and FS700?
Hi Jcalhoun,
Both the FS100 and FS700 are dedicated video cameras. Since the camera control cable is used mostly to trigger a photography camera for timelapse and stop motion there is not a compatible cable for these cameras.
Is there a cable for the T4i/650d? I ma ready to buy, but would hate to get stopped by a $2 cable.
Thx!
Sean, you would use the E3 cable.
Which cable for Canon 70D?
Canon 70D would use the E3 cable.
Hi, Is there a way to use the S2 cable (in live motion mode on cinedrive) with the Sony A7s II to trigger the Record Start/Stop function? I get on-screen notice that the capture button (signal sent from S2 cable) is only used in non-movie mode (hence only still capture). Help would be appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Manuel, I'm sorry that type of functionality is currently only available with RED cameras and our RED trigger cables. The camera control cable with other cameras allows for the system to trigger the camera's shutter for timelapses and stop motion moves, if you are doing a video shot you would need to manually press the record button on the camera. For syncing kOS has flash marks built into the system:
